    The Job


    Reporting to the Supplier Relationship Manager, your role is key for Globoforce to continuously deliver a best in class customer experience.  Working with many different business functions you will be coordinating the Supplier Operations with a procurement and operational focus. The candidate will manage the Request for Quotation process (RFQ), Contracts and Costs with current and new Globoforce vendors. You will be analysing costs, negotiating contract details and offering strategies and solutions to help Globoforce better manage vendor services. You will work cross-functionally (product, demand planning, finance, IT, etc.) to evaluate current supplier management practices and make recommendations to drive improvements. You would help identify areas of improvement through analysis and provide recommendations and insights. You would seek out improvements in supplier management processes that result in financial and performance improvements and efficiencies where available.

    Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    • SRS will support the Globoforce business with 3rd Party Globoforce suppliers of Merchandise, Debit Cards, and operational partners with Gift Cards, Commemorative items and awards.
    • The SRS will help drive competitive advantage and deliver commercial gain, through adding value to the Globoforce margin
    • Working with the Key stakeholders in determining the criteria for successful supplier selection
    • Partner internally to develop supplier strategies that result in simplified supplier programs
    • Bi annual Business Review coordination with the 3rd Party Suppliers to define the rhythm and drive the improvement targets
    • Data Compliance and Business Contingency planning and coordination with the Suppliers
    • Delivering a fair statement of work (SOW) that defines the relationship between successful supplier and Globoforce
    • Contract Mgmt. - Work with Legal on the negotiations on contract definition that fulfills both the company and supplier requirements
    • Supporting the overall Tender process (Request for Quotation)
    • Rebate / Freight / Credit term review and negotiation across 3rd Party Suppliers and other future Globoforce Suppliers
    • Responsible for troubleshooting all supplier problems that cannot be resolved by the functional teams
    • Project coordination with internal and external Key stakeholders and 3rd Parties

    Required Skills and Experience

    • 3 + Years’ demonstrated work experience in Vendor/Supplier partnership management experience essential
    • Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of management
    • Strong interpersonal, presenting and communication skills
    • Advanced level on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
    • Experience on Cost and trend analysis
    • Project Mgmt. experience desirable
    • Conflict & negotiation experience

    Education and Qualifications

    • Diploma or Degree in Business or Supply chain disciplines would be advantageous
