    We want to achieve this in a way that allows us to scale to a large number of customers, via a low-touch, Self-Service model, that provides a delightful user experience.

    It’s an exciting new direction for Globoforce and your chance to be involved from the offset in this highly strategic and green field project.

     

    The Job

    Here's just some of what you will be doing;

     

    We’re building an A-Team to help us deliver our new Self Service model. We’re now looking for a Senior Product Owner, who’s excited about playing an instrumental role in driving the design, development and go-to-market approach for our newest SaaS solution.

    You’re someone that’s constantly thinking about, devising and implementing features through which we can: attract and acquire more customers, nail user on-boarding, drive high product engagement and make our customers successful.

    You’re comfortable dealing with unknowns, not afraid of stating your hypotheses and ideas, devising experiments to collect data and make data-driven decisions that will inform the product roadmap and feature design and implementation.  

     

    • Work with the Senior Director of Product Management to define the high-level problems on the Product Backlog that, when solved, will help achieve the strategic goals for your product area.
    • Clearly articulate and manage product requirements, through writing, breaking down and refining epics and user stories and acceptance criteria. Have a clear focus on always delivering business value.
    • Collaborate with UX team to arrive at prototypes/mockups that will drive the sprint execution as well as higher level vision/strategy conversations with the leadership team.
    • Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, Customer Success, Operations, etc.) to ensure their use-cases and requirements are represented in the product backlog.
    • Enable the scrum team during each sprint to be successful. Clarify requirements, make priority calls, review test plans and review development work and participate in scrum rituals.
    • Build the trust, respect and confidence with the extended technical team in terms of being able to articulate the ‘WHY’ behind the product backlog and showing them the vision.
    • Drive decision making on solution options and trade-offs to consider in order to meet business needs.
    • Collaborate and work with other product owners and scrum teams to identify and drive dependencies that are critical for success of your product area.
    • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders on product status, scope changes and risks.

     

    Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

    Skills and experience:

    • 4+ years working as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum product development environment
    • SaaS delivery model experience is a must-have, in either B2B or B2C environments.
    • Very strong analytical thinking in terms of ability to break down problems into logical components and highly data-driven in terms of making product decisions.
    • Must have demonstrated experience in leading product initiatives that are large scale in terms of customer base, complexity of problems solved, scope of functionality offered, etc.
    • Must have a strong bias for action i.e. you are pro-active in figuring out what problems to tackle and then execute on solving them.
    • Adept at engaging with customers, prospects and partners to understand their needs and determine their goals
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to influence and persuade peers and leadership on your ideas and vision for the product.
    • Must be adept at working with a distributed team and know how to effectively build a cohesive team identity.

     

    Education and Qualifications

    • Business/Commerce/Science/IT degree and/or appropriate experience and certificates
