    GBSG:

    The Global Business Systems Group (GBSG) consists of 12 team members, and is responsible for key areas such as, the analysis of new projects and development, master data configuration, helpdesk and support, reporting, business system maintenance and process implementation that supports compliance and the optimization of operational resources. In addition, the group has a .Net/Java development team, responsible for the development of integration components and custom development.

     

    The group supports Epicor and its associated applications and technologies, Microsoft Dynamics CRM (online version) and other back-office technology. The group reports into the Director of Global Business Systems, who has direct reporting to the VP of Global Operations.

    The Job

    The GBSG Senior Application Engineer (CRM) will provide in-depth application support, configuration and development for the applications and technologies on the Microsoft Dynamics platform

     They will be responsible for delivery of identified and agreed projects and functionality. Working with the Global Business Systems team and functions, they will leverage functionality within our applications and associated technologies, to support Global Operations and Finance in providing best-in class service. The Senior Application Engineer will be a senior technical resource responsible for planning, designing, and leading Dynamic CRM solutions. Coming from a strong Microsoft development background, you will be expected to have broad and deep technical skills and experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions based on the Dynamics platform.

    Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

    Main Duties & responsibilities:

    A minimum of 5 years’ commercial experience in technical roles with at least 3-5 full-lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics implementations, with strong expertise in the following:

    • Experience understanding configurations and customisations in Dynamics CRM.
    • Actively support all phases of a CRM project - from solution design, prototyping, development, testing to rollout in association with the Principal Application Engineer, to meet identified requirements and business needs
    • Strong technical leadership skills to lead others in delivering high quality software in line with agreed plans and milestones
    • Familiarity across the Microsoft portfolio, not restricted to CRM/XRM.
    • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
    • Technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM configuration, web service programming, development and Application Integration capabilities such as creating a customer portal solution to the Internet.
    • Experience in producing dashboards, views and reports to support end-users.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills, verbal and written communication skills, self-starting and self-motivation, leadership and facilitation skills, etc.
    • Ability to identify and resolve critical technical issues.
    • Work collaboratively with our stakeholders across Operations and Finance to understand requirements.
    • Work with consultants and the Principal Application Engineer to further develop our solution design and technical knowledge base.
    • Work with GBSG team and consultants to research and evaluate technology solutions and make recommendations relating to technology adoption
    • Providing support and knowledge to other IT functions about our application environments.

     

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Ideal candidates will have certifications in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Microsoft development technologies. Microsoft Dynamics CRM (2011 – 2017) Configuration and Customization, including plugins, custom workflow assembly, CRM form programming (scripting), custom page integration (embedding custom ASP.NET pages into CRM and using JavaScript to integrate with CRM forms) development
    • Preferably have at least 5 years .NET (C#), ASP.NET (MVC), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) and WF (Windows Workflow Foundation) development experience
    • Strong experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), including newer technology stacks
    • Unit Testing Frameworks
    • Good SharePoint, Office and Active Directory experience
    • Data integration and migration experience using multiple technologies and platforms.
    • Development of Portal Solutions used in conjunction with CRM
    • Experience using 3rd Party Applications with CRM
