    Our modern offices are easily accessible by Car, Rail (Park West & Cherry Orchard station – on the Dublin Connolly-Portlaoise line), Bus, LUAS and close to shops, restaurant, gym etc.

    We use agile software development techniques and tools to focus our efforts on solving business goals. Our scrum teams consist of Software Development, Test and Automation Engineers, Product Owner, UX Designer and Software Architect. Product Management provides the strategic direction, supported by respective members of the executive team. 

    We release often & are passionate about what we do. 

     

    Here’s just some of what you will be doing: 

     

    • Overseeing product development for several feature areas, ensuring teams are delivering value to the businessin line with needs and expectations  
    • Fostering a culture of empowerment, collaboration and continuous improvement to ensure teams are able maximise their potential for delivery
    • Collaborating with Product and Engineering Managementto understand strategic direction, and ensuring that it is well aligned with development efforts 
    • Helping individuals develop, through effective coaching, 1-1’s, mentoring, and career planning
    • Being an Agile advocateand support continuous improvement in development practice, including coding, quality assurance, continuous integration, test automation and deploy-on-demand 
    • Overcoming challengesas they arise, ensuring internal and external customers remain delighted with product delivery 
    • Future planning, including active involvement in hiring and growing our engineering team, both on and off-shore to ensure foundations are laid for teams to execute successfully

    Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

    Key Skills and Experience  

     

    • Experience overseeing successful delivery of best-in-class product offering including; risk assessment, guiding, organising and motivating teams
    • Ability to assess the complexity of a product initiative and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders for design and planning 
    • Indepth knowledge of effective agile development practices maximizing value delivery to the business
    • Familiarity with SaaS business operating models
    • Leadership experience operating within a coaching culture
    • Experience working with senior stakeholders 

     

    Technical stack:

    • Java 8, Spring MVC, Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Elastic Search, Oracle 12c, ActiveMQ, Hadoop, Javascript/jQuery, CanJS, AWS, Selenium, Unirest & TestNG.
