    The Job

    This is a unique chance to join the Global Communications team in a dynamic global role, supporting internal communications. You’ll collaborate with colleagues in Dublin and the U.S., to brand Globoforce as an employer of choice, create internal communications that delight and inform our employees in engaging ways.

     

    What we want you to do:

    • Collaborate with internal partners across functions based in our Dublin office (HR, Operations, Finance, IT) to ensure that office/region/company-wide communications are delivered appropriately (and feedback from employees are acted upon).
    • Develop, write, and edit communications for internal communication vehicles, including e-mail announcements, Slack posts, newsletters, company meetings, videos, and presentations – ensure that presentations and points are developed with all attendees in mind, incorporating feedback from employees.
    • Engage with employees to understand areas of interest and preferred vehicles to inform our communications topics and delivery methods.
    • In partnership with HR, effectively communicate our culture, mission, and working environment both internally and externally to increase internal engagement and attract external talent.
    • Work with individual departments to determine their unique selling points and develop job description guidelines to ensure all jobs are described in a way that engages the candidate.
    • Project manage day-to-day planning and execution of brand and marketing efforts in support our hiring initiatives.
    • Leverage the company’s partnerships with local industry organizations for employer branding opportunities.
    • Draft content for Ireland-specific workplace award submissions.
    • Assist with the development of engaging digital signage messages.
    • Collaborate with global communication team colleagues, learning from and sharing successes and challenges, while leveraging best practices.

    Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

    The person we hire will have:

    • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency.
    • The ability to effectively build relationships within the organization to help achieve business outcomes.
    • Created impactful communication assets – written, visual, and video.
    • Strong attention to detail and solid organizational and project management skills.
    • Knowledge of corporate branding and employee engagement strategies.
    • Experience using Photoshop and/or Illustrator to create attention-grabbing images.
    • An attitude and work ethic that inspires people to want to work with you and help you succeed.
    • 5+ years progressive experience in internal communications or employee engagement, in a technology industry preferably.
    • Experience with external media relations and/or agencies a plus.
