The Job

Globoforce’s Conversations is a growing product within the HR industry, stemming from Globoforce’s social recognition solution. It is focused on helping our clients enhance their performance process by focusing on building a feedback rich culture with the regular usage of check-in’s, setting priorities, and giving, receiving and requesting feedback across the organization. This role will help lead the transformation in evolving the current way organizations all around the world are viewing performance management; changing the way employees experience their performance development in a more workhuman way. Globoforce is looking for a self-motivated, hands-on, dynamic sales professional who has deep knowledge into the HR performance space, that can accelerate and drive revenue for Conversations in a dynamic, thriving and fast-paced organization. 

 

The position will report to the Head of Global Sales.

Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

  • Be accountable to drive existing and net new business for Conversations product within assigned territory as the subject matter expert in performance development
  • Develop, qualify, progress new opportunities through the sales cycle forecast and close deals end to end to meet or exceed quota
  • Continuously provide strategic plans of developing your territory
  • Meet with prospects to identify their requirements and needs
  • Maintain solution selling knowledge of Conversations and be hands on in presenting the value proposition, executive sales demos; engage in consultative executive conversations
  • Collaborate with assigned Inside Sales Rep and work together to align on account/prospect research and strategy
    • Work closely with sales leadership and product team to deliver feedback on performance market on product suggestions and pricing
    • Effectively represent our solution relative to the competition
    • Continually maintain a high-level knowledge of the HR performance industry

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years’ experience in a SaaS software sales (quota carrying) position within the Performance Management HR industry
  • Experience selling into performance management HR leaders
  • Proven track record in target achievement
  • Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred
  • Demonstrated success with complex, mid to long cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced, competitive market
  • Ability to understand the human behavior of organizational feedback and setting goals
  • Advanced presentation skills; ability to own the right to be in the room
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Experience with HR programs implementation
  • Must have the ability to manage a territory and work with minimal supervision and to make the appropriate decisions in order to attain business objectives
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time
  • Highly organized
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
