The position of Associate Support Engineer is to support our growing GBSG team in the Dublin office.

Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Work with GBSG Support Engineer and GBS Team to:

  • Provide first-level application support for all applications that GBSG support.
  • Liaise with internal customers to clearly define issues and provide first-level resolution support.
  • Record, track and document the service desk requests, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution
  • Provide assistance with daily data coordination tasks
  • Administer new users and user amendments
  • Provide “back-up” for Dynamics CRM & Data Co-Ordination
  • Create and update procedural documentation
  • Any other duties



Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of GUI controls/components
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel


Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with ERP software would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Dynamics CRM software would be an advantage
  • Relational database experience
  • Microsoft SharePoint experience
  • SSRS Reports experience


Education and Qualifications:

Qualification in relevant discipline, e.g. Computer Science i
