The Job

Reporting to the Supplier Relationship Manager, your role is key for Globoforce to continuously deliver a best in class customer experience.  Working with many different business functions you will coordinating the Supplier Operations with a strategic and operational focus. You will work cross-functionally (product, demand planning, finance, IT, etc.) to evaluate current supplier management practices and make recommendations to drive improvements. You would help identify areas of improvement through analysis and provide recommendations and insights. You would seek out improvements in supplier management processes that result in financial and performance improvements and efficiencies where available

Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • SRS will support the Globoforce business with 3rd Party Globoforce suppliers of Merchandise, Debit Cards, Gift Cards, Commemorative items and awards.
  • The SRS will help drive competitive advantage and deliver commercial gain, through adding value to the Globoforce margin
  • Quarterly Business Review coordination with the nine 3rd Party Suppliers
  • Data Compliance coordination with the Suppliers
  • SOWs & Contract Mgmt.
  • RFI, RFP & RFQ Compilation
  • Rebate / Freight / Credit term review and negotiation across 3rd Party Suppliers and other future Globoforce Suppliers
  • Supplier Life Cycle Management covering selection, contracts and relationships as listed below:

Supplier Selection Process

  • Working with the Key stakeholders in determining the criteria for successful supplier selection
  • Supporting the overall Tender process (RFI/RFP)
  • Delivering a fair statement of work that defines the relationship between successful supplier and Globoforce
  • Work with Legal on the negotiations on contract definition that fulfills both the company and supplier requirements
  • Ensuring that all parties are aligned before implementation work begins

 

Monitoring Contractual Agreements

  • The person will be evaluating and monitoring contracts to ensure suppliers comply with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Partner internally to develop supplier strategies that result in simplified supplier programs

 

Managing Relationships

  • Internally the supplier contact will work cross functionally to help create the annual expectations and plan.
  • Work with the Key internal teams in developing Globoforce’s supplier strategy
  • Responsible for troubleshooting all supplier problems that cannot be resolved by the functional teams
  • Coordinate and manage regular business reviews on an agreed schedule; this is a critical part to defining the drum beat and driving the improvement targets

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3 + Years’ demonstrated work experience in Supply Chain/Operations environment
  • Previous procurement/partnership management experience essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of management
  • Strong interpersonal, presenting and communication skills
  • Advanced level on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem solving skills

Education and Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Business or Supply chain disciplines would be advantageous
